I didn’t know what to post today so I decided to write about and post part of the deleted ending of The Pack Slut’s first draft. I wrote The Pack Slut a long time ago. I think it was between 2014 – 2016. And the epilogue was written later. I was really young then so the ending was very immature.
When I went to look at the reviews left by Wattpad readers in the last chapter of The Pack Slut, many complained that I was leading young readers astray. And I think they’re right.
Young girls should know that they don’t have to settle for less. There are billions of men in the world. Don’t settle for the one who didn’t cherish you when he should have. If someone already treated you badly when they had some power over you or thought you were worthless to them, then you don’t actually want them.
Now that I’m a grown woman and I have had much more experience in life, I wasn’t satisfied with the ending where the main character ended up with the guy who rejected her and watched her flounder.
I wanted Imogen to want a better life for herself. I wanted Imogen to have the chance to be a bigger person beyond the ‘Luna’ of a pack. I wanted her to grow to be phenomenal in the world.
When I got the idea for ‘The Fae Omegas Series’, everything fell into place.
Many of the flaws in ‘The Pack Slut’ and ‘Who Wants a Blind Mate’ were eliminated when I rewrote them as standalone books in The Fae Omegas series.
Just as I wanted, the two characters became important to the world beyond the scope of being Fae Omegas. That is, beyond the scope of who they were from birth or their destiny.
With their hard work, they became important people to the world so that people in the supernatural council were somewhat confident in their ability to MAYBE, SOMEDAY defeat the evil god.
Warning: This ending where the main characters in The Fae Omegas Series become important characters beyond the scope of their destiny did not happen for Imogen in The Pack Slut. It was in ‘Who Wants a Blind Mate?’ that you see an Imogen that has become important to the world.

It was almost evening when I heard the howls of goodbye as my pack bid the Black Creek alpha’s son goodbye. I had excused myself from the goodbye ceremonies with the excuse of investigating the paw prints I’d found in the wood which actually belonged to a stray coyote.
I took a deep breath and took the corner from the backyard to see Tom get into the car that had been sent by his father to take him back to his pack. When I didn’t see Ginny anywhere around the people bidding Tom goodbye, my face fell and my heart broke even as a howl from my wolf and myself threatened to break out of my mouth. I turned away and struggled to keep my emotions in check.
“Looking for me?” The voice asked in the beautiful husky voice that belonged to none other than my mate, Imogen.
I looked up to find her sitting on the low branch of the sturdy tree that I had played on as a child.
“I’m staying…I…I love you too and I don’t think I can live without you. I’ll give you that second chance you asked for but this is your last chance and…” She was saying but I jumped unto the tree and kissed her senseless.
“I love you too and I promise to love you and cherish you,” I said.
She smiled and suddenly the branch we were both sitting on broke and I found myself on the floor with Ginny’s delicious weight on me. Before I could say anything else, I felt her fangs bury themselves in my neck, feeling a painful pinprick that was soon replaced with drowsy arousal as she pulled blood from the mating bite. After a few mouthfuls, she withdrew her fangs which she wasn’t even supposed to have since she hadn’t shifted, and closed my wound shut. I also buried my fangs in my neck and took a few mouthfuls of her blood, thus, finalizing our mate bond.
Epilogue
Two wolves, one pure white with red stains and the other alpha black with a trace of white on its head, ran together, nipping at each other. The smaller white wolf started a game of chase and they started to chase after one another.
The remaining wolves in the pack who had been left behind just glanced at the tireless couple and sat down or lay around, their big furry bodies touching each other.
Only one wolf, with tan-brown fur, stood a bit to the side staring at the leaving couple. Another wolf with a strange blonde tan popularly known as Harriet came to nudge the staring wolf, Luke. And they eventually cuddle together.
