Hello everyone, this is Eunice Amnell and this is going to be my first blog post. I’ve been thinking hard about what to write and really couldn’t think of the perfect ‘Author Blog Post’ so I just decided to write an Author update on how rewriting and editing ‘The Pack Slut‘ and ‘Who Wants a Blind Mate?‘ is going.
I’m currently editing ‘The Pack Slut’ and I’m pretty much done with most of the rewriting. I was editing TPS for about three weeks every day and it was pretty tough.
I got feedback from one of my beta readers that the characterization of The Pack Slut’s characters was executed much better than Who Wants a Blind Mate’s characters last night, and I was so happy to hear that. That’s three weeks’ worth of focus on trying to make every scene and chapter worth it and important to the character development of every character.
Frankly, I’m super tired of editing over and over again, but I need to make sure that even though this book isn’t perfect, it’s a worthy read.
I hope to be done with editing and all the extra work related to TPS by the end of the week, and then I can focus on perfecting WWABM (Who Wants a Blind Mate?) and publishing it as well.
I’ve added more chapters and tried my best to fill up the plot holes pointed out by beta readers in WWABM. But I feel like I still need to work out some kinks in WWABM to make it perfect and ready for reading. Don’t worry TPS fans, Imogen from TPS will be appearing in WWABM. [SPOILER ALERT].
I also want to assure fans of the series (if there are ever fans of the series) that I’ve written out the plot outline for the remaining two books in The Fae Omegas Series. I’ve got titles as well; I’m just not yet ready to share them yet.
I also really want to take the time to reach out to and thank all my beta readers, editors, proofreaders, and the book cover designer who reached out willing to help me out with the book. I really appreciate your help.
For those who reached out to me anticipating the release of the books, either TPS or WWABM, I just wanted to assure you with this blog post that I’m still working hard at it and hope to produce the best work to honor your love.
